Couponing Promotions
Here, you will have all of your promotions, discounts such as veteran discounts or promotional discounts such as sales, and loyalty point usage and what they are valued at. We have a system called our Promotions Wizard that will allow for easy creation of promotions. If you would like more info on how to use this please see this link. https://manual.koronapos.com/wizard/
Additionally, you are able to configure what your loyalty points are worth. In the video below, you will see how to do this, as well as how to set up the buttons to apply said loyalty numbers and create a button that allows you to use the points.
Loyalty Cards
Here you will see balances of all cards as well as any customers that are attached to the accounts.
Promotion Creations without the Wizard
When creating a promotion without the wizard, it’s important to understand a few things. The trigger is what starts the discount from starting and not what is being discounted necessarily. For example you, may have a discount that is applied after 20 items are added to the receipt. The discount could be on the least expensive item. The benefit is what the promotion actually does.
Promotion/Loyalty Points Examples
Below you will see the creation of a BOGO discount on Lays Dill chips. It is imperative that you mark it to give the 100% discount of the BOGO to the “Most Expensive” even though they are the same price. This is the best way for functionality.
Here we will demonstrate creating a 15% Veteran/Military Discount that is marked exclusive (can’t be combined with other discounts).
Here we create a “Wine Wednesday” promotion where wine is 10% off on Wednesdays only and only on products with the “Wine Wednesday” tag.
In order to use loyalty points you will need to dictate what they are worth under couponing promotions. See the example below as we set our loyalty points to be worth 10 cents a point/100 points = 10 dollars. To configure the button that allows you to add loyalty numbers at the POS or use the points see the top of this page.
