Store Accounts and Transactions

If you want to give some of your customers credit rather than taking payment immediately, you need to process an account transaction. To make an account transaction with Korona you will need to have the account in question setup in both the back office and the point of sale.

Creating Accounts and Running Transactions

To create a withdrawal account in Korona, go to the Korona Back Office.

Then, go to accounts by clicking Settings > Accounts.

Once you are at the accounts screen, click “new”.

Once you are at the create account screen, give the new account you wish to track. Make sure the account type is set to “Withdrawl”. When you are done click the save button to save the account. You will need to add this button to the POS for this to work. You can do this in button configurations > button layouts. When you’ve added your button, synchronize your POS.

To process an account transaction. Set up the receipt with the desired items.

Attach the appropriate withdrawal account to the receipt.

Select Total on the point of sale and Press “credit account”

NOTE: You may need to make a payment method for this button.

To view the transactions for that account you will need to go to the Korona back office for this. Go to Settings > Accounts and select the account you wish to view. Please note: You may need to hit the update button located at the top of the screen to ensure that you have the most up to date information.

If you wish to receive payment for that account you will need to add that account to the receipt. Then type in the amount you wish to have added with a negative sign (-) in front of it. Then process the transaction normally.
